Tongoio Bush / Falls - Napier: Photo Expedition

So it has been a while, but I have been busy busy flitting around the country again.
A little photo expedition to Tongoio Falls produced left and a couple of others which I didn't think were too shabby. I had never been here before which would surprise many locals as it's only about 20 mins from my house and I have lived here since forever! I've always driven past on my way to Mahia and never stopped so I was pleasantly surprised it actually existed.
Had a little time out for myself in Rotorua (Hi sis!) and a first fitting for my Bridesmaid dress (always the bridesmaid....) in Tauranga. Thanks heaps to "Brides on Devonport" for making it as painless as possible, in and out in half an hour. Even if I do say myself we are going to look gorgeous! From there on to Auckland, always a good photo op' outside "Hell's Pizza" in tiny Bethlehem. A quick run around the outlet stores and a neverending jaunt to the "Auckland Home Show". I had on soooo the wrong shoes for marathon walking the exhibits and I didn't even get to buy any electronic goods and so was very over it by the end of the night. Visited the "Grand Wedding Show" in a far better and rested mood the next day. A great girly day, champers, catwalks dahling, photographers everywhere and I'll admit the male models / dancers (not the other way around) were H-O-T! There's just something about a guy who can dance...sexy.
I'm back to reality now though, work and not much play. Cheering myself up by perusing DSlr catalogues. A feel a new camera coming on!!!

Little Miss Naughty.

I am so naughty for not updating here - it's been a month!

I got a new camera (hence pictures of flowers) just have to learn to use it properly. Another reason I have signed myself up for a photography course starting tonight. Can only lead to better photo's and more expensive equipment, but I won't complain til the bill comes.

Watch this space!

It's time to light the lights - Transformers 2

I finally got to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen today after they were so rudely booked out when I went to go last night. Fast paced and action packed from the start there was so much to see my butt didn't even notice the two and a half hour screen time. Sam Witwicky's (Shia LaBeouf) drugged up mother (Julie White) and the new twin Autobots provide great comedic relief for the down times.
Megan Fox (Mikaela) looks absolutely gorgeous throughout the whole movie and you are left wondering just what is she doing with Shia's character? I think though that is a drawcard for the girlies, the impossible relationship. That and all the men in uniform, especially Josh Duhamel!
I really enjoyed it, Fox gets my vote for who I'd turn gay for and check out "Tasha" (Isabel Lucas) from Home and Away as a sexy femme-bot!!

Rating: 4 out of 5 Choc-Tops.

Kitty's Law #121

The amount of rainfall you'll get on any particular day is in direct proportion of how much furniture you're moving!

I moved the boxes out, I moved the boxes in, I moved the boxes out and yes I shook the Tarps all about.
Highlights of the day:
Kobe winning his Soccer 4-1 and fish 'n' chips for dinner. (Pathetic but true).
Lowlights:
Leaving my warm bed to watch Soccer and feeling every box and bed I lifted in my muscles. (I must be getting old!).
No practice tomorrow... I feel a sleep-in coming on or at the very least a movie in bed.

Another Day,

Another dollar. Work is unbelievably tedious. Audit next Tuesday so have been file hunting all day, there is always another tomorrow so here's hoping it brings me the $20M on Big Wednesday. Kitty not going to work on Thursday...priceless.

Who'd have thought??

Look what I have done! I have made my first Slideshow (thank you Photobucket and Bebo), and managed to change some of the background colours, all by one o'clock in the morning! Oh what an exciting life I lead. A glorified receptionist by day and a Secret Agent writing spy codes by night. Alright, so it's geek code and changing blog colours isn't saving the world, but I had to look really hard to find the correct codes....yawn!

Let there be light....

Well, I guess it is going to take a lot longer than I thought to put this all together. If you take in to consideration that I have absolutely no idea what I am doing (although I'm not admitting that to anyone), I am not doing too badly.
It's all looking a little too pink for my liking but until I geek up and learn "the code" to change it - it stays.
